On September 30, Rizin 30 is going to take place in Saitama, Japan. The headlining of the event is going to be Kai Asakura vs Alan Yoshihiro Yamaniha. It is going to be a tremendous stylistic match-up, where a Jujitsu fighter will face a striker.

27 years old Japanese fighter is a fantastic striker. His Professional record includes 17 victories and three defeats. Even though Asakura is a fantastic striker, all of his losses are via KO/TKO. He suffered defeats against the best fighters of the promotion. One of the best bantamweight fighters, former Rizin and Bellator champion, and former UFC fighter, Kyoji Horiguchi, defeated him via KO in the first round, and another loss against current UFC fighter Manel Kape (16-6-0) via second-round TKO. In his previous 5 contests, he earned 3 victories. The last time he fought was on June 13, 2021, against Shuto Watanabe. He defeated his rival via first-round TKO. 11 victories out of his 17 victories are first-round finishes. Also, 11 victories are via KO/TKO, 3 via submissions, and only 3 via decision.

His rival is going to be the 35 years old BJJ fighter by the nickname “Hiro.” Brazilian-Japanese fighter is on 4 winning streak. The last time he fought in Rizin 29, which was his debut in this promotion he faced and defeated Kazuma Kuramoto via unanimous decision. He earned 18 victories in his professional career. Most of them (11) are via unanimous decision, which means he has perfect cardio. He has 3 wins via submissions and 4 via TKO. He also has 4 draws in his professional MMA career, which is really rare.

Most fans think that Kai Asakura will “Teach” a lesson to Hiro in his second fight in the promotion. According to one of the most famous MMA websites, 97% of the MMA community thinks Asakura will earn an easy victory, and 85% believe he will make this victory via TKO or KO. The odds are not finalized yet, but Asakura is supposed to open this fight as a favorite.
