Newcastle United play host to Leeds United on Friday evening as both sides look for that elusive first Premier League win of the season.
The Magpies were beaten 4-1 by a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired Manchester United side in their last match, leaving them in the relegation zone with just one point from four games.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have begun the new campaign in similar form with two points on the board from their four matches. Like Newcastle, they were also well beaten last time out as Liverpool handed them a 3-0 defeat at Elland Road.
Despite being just over a month into the new season, both teams will be aware of the importance of picking up a maiden win at St James’ Park on Friday.
