Tokyo Olympics 2021 story

The City of Tokyo has been given the permit to organize and host the 2021 Olympics. Hosting will commence on July 23, 2020 with an end date in October 2021.

Out of the numerous bids for hosting the international sporting event, the International Olympic Committee eventually short-listed Istanbul (Turkey), Madrid (Spain) and Tokyo (Japan) for the chance to organize the Summer Olympics 2021. It was a short competition in the three cities for get the chance to host the 2021 Summer Olympics as the winner needed the 49 votes to win the majority. The first balloting saw Istanbul and Madrid tied get the second place. A run-off voting system was held to placed the second place winner with in Madrid and Istanbul. The final round of voting saw Tokyo and Istanbul participate for win the chance to host the Summer Olympics 2021. Eventually, the result saw a 60-36 difference in Japan’s support.

The 2019 Summer Olympics host was announced. Japan will welcome the world in 2020 to keep up its tradition of hosting more than one Olympic games!

Tokyo Olympics 2021 Venue

Tokyo is gearing up to host the Summer Olympics in four years and will be welcoming visitors from all over the world. In anticipation, 1 million foreigners are expected to visit Japan during this time period for a chance at experiencing these once-in-a-lifetime events! Japanese ability is set to make the games a pleasurable and best comfortable event for athletes and sports fans alike.

The 2021 Summer Olympics will be held in two zones, with the more traditional “Heritage Zone” representing tradition and history while Tokyo Bay represents a newer and innovative area. With many important venues from 1964’s Games that are still intact today, it is no wonder why so many people want to see some of these historic sites on their own as well!

The Tokyo Metropolitan is making preparations for the 2020 Olympics with a budget of $3.67 billion to cover all costs, as well as ensuring that it’s grand opening and closing ceremonies are epic every four years. They’ve made major changes in public services like buses, airports, metros/subways and roads so they can handle large crowds during these events – which will be free!

The Athlete’s Village for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is at 5 Harumi, Chuo-ku. It spreads across 44 hectares and it resides in a popular well developed waterfront district of Japan’s capital city where 18000 athletes will be able to live during their stay.
The new and modern buildings will be renovated after the Tokyo Olympics, then sold as prime residential land. The Athletes’ Village is located ideally close to sports venues, with a blessed choice of transport options nearby! It’s only 5-10 minutes away from Kachidoki Station on Toei Oedo Line and around 15-20 minute walk from there.

The Tokyo Olympics are taking place in 2021. Some of the popular venues include Odaiba Marine Park, Sea Forest Waterway and Fuji International among other impressive places.
