Michael Conlan vs. T.J. Doheny fight Full undercard, News, Live Stream, Updates

We take a look at what to expect from the full card as Michael Conlan vs. T.J. Doheny fight for one version of the WBA featherweight title.

Michael Conlan has a date with T.J. Doheny on Friday afternoon for the WBA interim featherweight title and he’ll get back in his old weight class to fight it out, and this will be headlining Belfast’s 3 p.m ET card that starts off their day of boxing action!

A new website has the potential to change how we watch sports. ESPN PLUS is a streaming service from Disney that gives you access to live events, exclusive original programming and on-demand content. If this sounds like your type of thing then all you need is an internet connection!

The full Top Rank promoted card will air exclusively on the ESPN+ subscription streaming service starting in 2019. You can subscribe at $5 per month or get even more bang for your buck with their bundled offer which includes Hulu (at no additional cost).

As time went on, Conlan’s bloodlust for fighting began to wane. With his 20th win came a decision that he would now enter the pro ranks and take up boxing full-time as opposed to training intermittently like before. He knew it was what made him happy so why not? The 25 year old has since fought five times in 2018 – with four wins and one draw (against Pedro Guevara). One of those fights saw him claim the WBO International super bantamweight title after beating Ionut Baluta by majority decision back in April. Now 24 years old, Doheny is coming off an unanimous points loss against another Romanian boxer known as Ionut Bulata;

The three other bouts on the card are just as important and exciting. Lee McGregor faces Vincent Legrand for the EBU European bantamweight title, Tyrone McKenna faces late fill-in Jose Felix for the WBO Inter-Continental junior welterweight vacant belt, and Sergei Gorokhov defends his International Silver super middle weight championship against Padraig McCrory.
